re-think: sustainable furniture design competition

GreenHomeNYC will be featuring the work of six environmentally conscious design students who have created sustainable furniture especially for the garden lounge space at this fall’s The NEW New York Green Block Party. Using reclaimed materials donated by Film Biz Recycling and Build It Green, and the help of a jury of recognized architects / designers who offered creative support, the designers have revamped materials that would otherwise be waste. Film Biz Recycling generously hosted the jury’s selection day. Located in Gowanus, Film Biz Recycling collects film props for re-rental or re-sale.
