Join the Building Energy Exchange for Everyday Efficiency: A Walking Tour of BE-Ex’s Renovation, sponsored by National Grid.
Since June of 2017, BE-Ex has been undergoing a massive renovation and expansion of its Center, set to be completed by the end of the year. Designed by Architecture Research Office (A.R.O) and executed alongside contractor Alexander Wolf & Son, the project will add 3,000 SF to the existing 2,500 SF housed within the historic Surrogate’s Courthouse, effectively doubling its space. The renovation will revive its spectacular Beaux-Arts construction with state-of-the-art A/V capabilities and facilities.
Attendees will get a behind-the-scenes tour of the Center at the height of construction, guided by Richard Yancey of BE-Ex.
The Center’s expansion will feature:
100+ seat classroom
Interactive exhibit and technology demonstration spaces
Additional educational and training facilities
Note: Closed-toe shoes are required to enter construction zone.
