Gallery Talk: Convenience & Flexibility in Lighting Systems

Date: May 2, 2016

Time: 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Host: Building Energy Exchange

Type: Training/Workshop

Join the Building Energy Exchange for our new Gallery Talk series, which marries technical presentations from industry experts with the interactive content of our Lighting the Future advanced lighting exhibit. These sessions will guide attendees on configuring, selecting and installing the most advanced lighting, shading, and control systems available, and how those systems can maximized convenience, savings, and flexibility.

Today’s lighting control systems feature myriad controls, including real-time scheduling, occupancy and daylight response, and automated shading. These features are configured to minimize energy use while meeting occupant needs in the space. The talk will outline the components of digital systems, discuss how they interact with fixtures and shades, and discuss how intuitive interfaces and growing flexibility allow for changes and improvements to the space.
