2008 Green Buildings Open House: Sat. October 4

The 2008 NYC Green Buildings Open House was held on Saturday, October 4. Guests visited more than 25 participating buildings in 3 bus tours, 2 bike tours, and 2 walking tours. The 2008 event, our 6th annual tour, is sponsored by NYSERDA. The Hunts Point CAT shuttles are provided by BOEDC’s Bronx Initiative for Energy and the Environment.

All bus tours are on Hunts Point Clean Air Transportation (CAT) shuttles. The hybrid electric vehicles combine the use of a conventional engine and a highly efficient electric motor to provide an extremely clean transportation option.
