Fall 2009 Green Buildings Open House

The Green Buildings Open House is a chance for the public to tour green buildings throughout New York City. Open House not only provides a view of the inner workings of several green buildings, but also gives visitors a chance to meet the owners, architects and designers who built and operate them. • Saturday, October 3rd, 2009
• Various tour times between 10am and 4pm. Tours run roughly 1 hour.
• Various locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
• Please RSVP! All tour are free unless otherwise noted.

• David and Joyce Dinkins Gardens. 263 W. 153rd Street. Tour at 1pm.

• 28 Bedford. 28 Bedford Street. Tour at 12:15pm.
• 6BC Botanical Garden. 624-628 E. 6th Street. Tours at 3pm, 5pm and 6pm. Solar workshop at 4pm. $10 suggested donation.

• 6/15 Green Community Garden. 6th Avenue and 15th Street between 15th and 16th Street. Tours at 10am, 11am and 12pm. Solar workshop at 1pm. $10 suggested donation.
