Tiffany Broyles Yost is an environmental specialist and architectural designer at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates with over ten years of experience in research and design of sustainable architecture. She has worked on a variety of master planning, mixed-use, super-tall, commercial, academic, and institutional projects as head of KPF’s Environmental Network. A LEED® Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction (LEED AP BD+C), she brings a detailed knowledge of climate conditions and environmental performance to the design process.
Peter Syrett, Perkins+Will
Peter Syrett’s experience in sustainability and living communities has made him one of the firm’s leading experts in green design. Peter heads the sustainability efforts in Perkins+Will’s New York office as well as being the northeast region leader of Perkins+Will’s Sustainable Advisory Services, which helps our clients to a more sustainable future for their organizations. He guides teams towards a deeper understanding of sustainability, one that looks beyond green rating frameworks such as LEED, towards a paradigm of creating healthy and thriving ecological systems. Peter’s project range in scale from large urban planning studies down to critical analysis of the substances we use to build. Peter led the effort in 2009 to develop the Precautionary List, the architectural industry’s first major list of substances to avoid using in building design.
Albert S Wei, Senior Associate Principal, Kohn Pedersen Fox
Albert S Wei provides practice leadership in urban planning and urban sustainability at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, applying over 15 years of experience in urban design and planning, sustainable design, property development, and infrastructure planning. As an urban designer and planning consultant to government and property-sector clients, he creates compelling, effective and sustainable urban places. He has led or contributed to signature projects throughout North and South America, East, South and South-east Asia, and Western and Central Europe. Mr. Wei is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and a LEED® Accredited Professional in neighborhood development (LEED AP ND).
