Big & Green – November 19, 2003
The Museum of the City of New York hosted 37 attendees for GreenHomeNYC’s November forum. The evening started with a guided walk through the ‘Big & Green’ exhibit by installation curator Tom Mellins.
Tom discussed the history of green building for high-rises and touched on issues as well as examples of big & green in NYC.
The gallery talk was followed by a presentation about the new and future big, green buildings in Battery Park City by engineer Kevin Finnegan of the Battery Park City Authority.
GreenHomeNYC would like to thank the Museum of the City of New York, the evening’s speakers, and the attendees who braved a lengthy walk in inclement weather!
